# CDG to Paris: taxi, private driver or RER B?

> In 2026, the RER B costs €14 per person, a taxi a flat fare of €56 (right bank) or €65 (left bank) plus €4–7 booking fee, and a Parisian Elite private chauffeur €145 by sedan (up to 3 passengers), 15 minutes of waiting included. The RER is by far the cheapest; a taxi or private driver drops you at the exact address, the private driver at a fixed price known in advance, even outside central Paris.

The RER B links terminals 1 and 2 to central Paris (Gare du Nord, Châtelet) with the Paris Region ↔ Airports ticket at €14: great alone and travelling light, less so with suitcases, children or late at night.

Paris taxis charge a regulated flat fare to central Paris (€56 right bank, €65 left bank, booking and waiting fees extra). Outside Paris (La Défense, suburbs, Disneyland) the meter runs.

A private chauffeur booked in advance is there at your arrival time, at a fixed price known before you pay: €145 by sedan, €175 by van for up to 6 passengers with luggage.
